Stoke City have added a third match to their 2013 summer tour of the United States.

The Potters had already announced matches against Houston and FC Dallas. Now their third match of Stoke’s US tour will be against Philadelphia Union on July 30 at PPL Park.

Philadelphia’s match versus Stoke City marks the fourth time the Union have faced an English squad in a friendly and the third played at PPL Park, previously squaring off against Manchester United, Everton and Aston Villa. The club boasts a 5-1 all-time record at PPL Park against international opponents in friendlies, having defeated Celtic FC, Chivas de Guadalajara, Everton, Schalke 04 and most recently, Pumas UNAM.

“The trip to the States last year was a huge success due to the quality of the opposition we faced in our three matches and the high standard of training facilities, something we feel we have replicated with the arrangements for this nine day tour,” commented Stoke City’s Chief Executive Tony Scholes.

This game is included in the Union’s 2013 full season ticket package at no additional cost as Bonus Game 3. Tickets are on general sale. Individual tickets range in price from $25 for Supporters Section tickets to $50 for Midfield. Groups of 10 or more will receive a discount of up to $10 per ticket. Premium seating and suites are also available. Call 877-21-UNION for more information.
