Aston Villa Home and Away Shirts for 2013-14 Season Revealed [PHOTOS]

Aston Villa have unveiled their new home and away shirts for the 2013-14 season.

Designed and manufactured by Macron, this is by far my favorite home and away shirt combo of the 2013-14 season thus far. Aston Villa’s home shirt retains the familiar claret and blue colors, but the collar is the major difference — a stylish striped v-neck design. The reverse of which is embossed with the club’s ‘Prepared’ motto. The new Aston Villa home shirt, overall, resembles the one worn when the club won the European Cup in 1981-82.

The away shirt is equally classy with a claret and white chequered designed.

Here are close-up images of Aston Villa’s home and away shirts for next season:

  1. Ryan says:

Never a fan of collars, really. Whats up with the goalkeeper’s asymmetric collar? Looks like a mistake. Love the socks.

  2. Mike says:

I like them both. The home shirt especially. The away shirt is growing on me the more I look at it.

  3. Matt says:

I really like both kits, but I wish Macron would stop sticking their logo on the shoulders…

  4. Kenny says:

The home shirt is ok, really like the away one though.

  5. Andrew says:

Loving the home strip, best for a long time. Away kit is different but growing on me.

  6. Bishopville Red says:

Socks kick ass. The rest? Take it or leave it.

  7. StellaWasAlwaysDown says:

While nothing compares to the Acorns kit a few years ago for me, I like both of these new kits – especially compared to last season. I didn’t mind the glow-in-the-dark away, but like the different take with the new away. Might pick both up this season. UTV

  8. Conor Canavan says:

like the home one but i hate the design on the away one. benteke should move to a bigger club.

  9. Marc L says:

Kind of like these (other than Macron’s usual billboarding of its name as the earlier poster pointed out.)

But are these two designs different enough from one another? I could see some official giving them a bit of trouble over that (maybe away to West Ham?)

  10. trickybrkn says:

that god we got rid of macron…

  11. Wan says:

    No more Genting as sponsor?

  12. cheeky says:

Pure quality. Those collars are class!
