I thought the Transfer window didn’t open until july 1st?

(or in Daniel Levy’s case August 30th)

Whats the point in having a window?

  2. Marc L says:

Is he worth that money? Hell yes. I’ve actually seen him play a good bit over the years. Fills a glaring need, straight into the squad.

Plus, they have it to spend. The club revenue is projected to rise by an enormous amount past the last Y/O/Y increase of >50%. And there is a LOT of dead weight coming off the books. Dzeko and Nasri are probably getting sold as well, and both have some actual market value. Easily enough space to bring in Isco and one of the Uber-names (probably Cavani.)

  3. Steve says:

Gaffer, how come the Navas transfer hasn’t been confirmed by City yet?

    • The Gaffer says:

Navas is in Miami with the Spanish national team and they haven’t had an opportunity to have his medical done. From what I understand, Manchester City are trying to secure a medical for him here in Miami. Once that’s done and he’s passed that, then the coast is clear for City to officially announce it.
