Manchester United Home Shirt for 2013-14 Season: New Leaked [PHOTOS]

New images of Manchester United’s home shirt for next season have been leaked on the Internet.

As was reported in December, Manchester United’s new home jersey for the 2013-14 season will be plain red with black trim, and will feature a buttoned-down collar.

The design of the collar is the most unique aspect of the shirt. While it’s not a typical polo shirt collar like the new Arsenal away shirt for next season, the shorter collar on the United shirt gives the entire shirt design a distinctive appearance. The collar reminds me of Newcastle United’s away shirt from 1996, although it’s not identical.

And for the conspiracy theorists who think that this isn’t the new United shirt because Aon is the sponsor. Chevrolet’s sponsorship of the United shirt doesn’t begin until the 2014-15 season.

  1. Another rubbish kit by Nike… Since they took over from Umbro… I have never bought one of their crap kits

    1. so i gotta ask, why do you always end your posts with the sig “Cantona-“….you know the post says who you are at the top ….it literally says “Cantona says:”

    2. You haven’t bought a Manchester United shirt since 2002 and yet they haven’t responded to your heroic withdrawal of support?

Its almost as if they couldn’t give a damn Cantona.

    3. Who in their right mind would think the ancient umbro kits were better than the modern more stylish Nike kits? Remember the grey kit? Or half green half yellow shirt?

  2. Really dark shade of red, lovely collar detail.

If it’s true, probably the best shirt Nike has ever made for them.

  3. This is shocking! I can’t believe the crap Nike keep churning out year after year and with every year the kits seem to get that bit worse!

  4. this new shirt will be a best one to win the next season.
Manchester united could do anything but now we need some player to push more and more.

    1. chevrolet does not start next season this is the real shirt, you dont have a clue, it starts the season after!

  5. Don’t really like it. Happened to be at Nike Store on Saturday and the associate told me that the kit was available and he could show it if I wanted to see and even buy it. Of course I wanted to see.

I was really disappointed – I thought Nike could have gone better than this.

  6. There is nothing new or difference in Man United shirt. Hope they learn from Real Madrid like which color and design they should select.

    1. QUOTE: “This kit is wrong because united are likely to change their logo.”

LOGO……….. ah, these rags never disappoint.

  7. Same cheaply-made/sewn-on badge look that crap Nike has inflicted on City.

Rags, we disagree on most things but I stand ….uh, united with a lot of you in disdaining the manufacturer. And in nostalgia for the days when one’s kits were made and designed by Umbro.

Really this isn’t a terrible look outside the general Nike/sweatshop slave/cheapness effect.

  8. Half of these comments mean nothing and are from idiot frontrunners who don’t know a thing about United. Anyone complaining about needing Gundogan or Lewandowski is just saying BULL

  9. Love the look of the kit but at £55 on the utd website and changing it to Chevrolet after 1 season it just isn’t worth it. Why can’t they leave the kit unchanged for 2 seasons? Ripping off the fans!
