It’s a Saturday night in the United States, which means we get to scour all of the British Sunday tabloids for Premier League news. And boy there are a lot of BS stories tonight!

First up is The Sunday People who say that Manchester City have agreed a record £54 million transfer fee for Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao. I’ll believe it when I see it. Don’t be surprised if the British tabloids report that Falcao has agreed a transfer fee with four or five different clubs before the summer transfer window ends. They’re bound to be right eventually.

Meanwhile, The Sun is reporting that Chelsea have accepted that they’re willing to take a £30 millon loss on striker Fernando Torres if he’s sold this summer. If true, even £25 million for Torres is a lot of money.

In the final “I’ll believe it when I see it” story, The Sunday People are back with another unbelievable story where they say that Chelsea have told Manchester United to name their asking price for Rooney. Even money bags Chelsea won’t spend an obscene amount of money on Rooney, I’m sure.

What do you think? Is there an ounce of truth to any of the above three stories? Let us know in the comments section below.
