NASL Director of Communications and Public Relations Kartik Krishnaiyer will be leaving his position with the American soccer league this month to take a more active role in several exciting developments from EPL Talk, which will be revealed in more detail this summer.

“Kartik has been an integral part of EPL Talk since he began writing and podcasting for the site several years ago,” said Christopher Harris, founder and publisher of EPL Talk. “I’m looking forward to working closely together with him again as we prepare to roll out the next exciting chapter of EPL Talk to soccer fans worldwide.”

Krishnaiyer joined the NASL management staff in 2010 and played a key role in elevating the league’s visibility across the United States. With the addition of the New York Cosmos, the success of the Tampa Bay Rowdies and the rebranding of Miami FC as the Fort Lauderdale Strikers, just as a few examples, the league has achieved impressive success in such a short period of time. Plus, the Fort Lauderdale resident still found time to continue as a pundit on the popular EPL Talk Podcast, the longest running soccer podcast in the United States.

“I’m proud of our achievements at NASL building a strong and viable professional league in our markets, but now it’s time to focus on my next endeavor, where I’ll be bringing an independent viewpoint to global soccer news and analysis that I believe is missing right now,” said Krishnaiyer.

The Fort Lauderdale resident is also planning on working on other projects including his political work, as well as writing.

Please join me in formerly welcoming Kartik back to EPL Talk on a more regular basis.
