Brendan Rodgers Happy For Liverpool to Embrace Fair Play Route to Europe: The Nightly EPL

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is such a joker. The other day, he said Liverpool didn’t want a place in the Europa League via the UEFA Fair Play league. Now it seems he said he was just joking, and that he would welcome Liverpool playing in the Europa League next season by any means necessary.

It’s amazing how a conversation with one of Liverpool’s top executives can get someone to change his mind.

Here are tonight’s Premier League news headlines:

  1. Brendan Rodgers is a joke!! He parlayed an over achieving team (sorry Gaffer) into a manager’s job in which he is in way over his head. He is turning into the Gus Johnson of EPL managers.

    1. Well, he certainly walks all over the history and standards of one of the finest football clubs in the world.

  2. Rogers is full of crap. To defend Hannibal just about sums him up. He’s just an average manager who was hired by Henry who lets face it knows bugger all about footie.

    1. Not yet. The game is still open each week, so prizes will be awarded as soon as I get the updated leaderboards for the missing weeks.

      Sorry for the delay.

      The Gaffer

  3. Sagna is going to PSG? Didn’t know that. I really hope this isn’t a case of the Arsenal exodus continuing.
