Chelsea are one step away from reaching the 2012-13 Europa League Final if they can overcome Basel today at Stamford Bridge.

With a 2-1 aggregate lead thanks to a last gasp goal from David Luiz, Chelsea will want to improve defensively to prevent the Swiss side from getting a crucial away goal (or more) against the Blues.

Chelsea starting XI: Cech, Azpilicuelta, Ivanovic, Cahil, Bertrand, Luiz, Lampard, Ramires, Moses, Hazard, Torres.

Basel starting XI: Sommer, Voser, Schar, Sauro, Steinhofer, Frei, Salah, Serey, Elneny, Stocker, Streller.

For viewers in the United States, Chelsea against Basel will be shown live on FOX Soccer and FOX Soccer 2Go at 3pm ET.

In the other semi-final, Benfica plays Fenerbahce. That game will be shown live at the same time on FOX Soccer Plus and FOX Soccer 2Go.

  1. The American Voice of Soccer says:

Why was I not told about this game? I am free today and I could have used it as a warm-up to the real game on Sunday featuring MANU.

  2. Matt says:

both ties are 2:2 on aggregate with Chelsea and Fenerbahce going through on away goals at the momen. Basel deserved their goal but Chelse should have scored as well

  3. Pete says:

Holy f**k what a strike by Luiz.

  4. jb says:

    Chelsea should keep Lampard
