After last week’s story that Everton are planning on unveiling a new club crest this summer, there were reports that Manchester United were possibly considering a new crest too. But those have been shown to be untrue, and the above crest is a fake — created by someone with a sharp eye for how crests can be improved.

The current Manchester United crest is pictured below:

Meanwhile, here are photos of what appears to be Manchester United’s new home jersey and Man United away jersey for the 2013-14 season.
