After last week’s story that Everton are planning on unveiling a new club crest this summer, there were reports that Manchester United were possibly considering a new crest too. But those have been shown to be untrue, and the above crest is a fake — created by someone with a sharp eye for how crests can be improved.

The current Manchester United crest is pictured below:

Meanwhile, here are photos of what appears to be Manchester United’s new home jersey and Man United away jersey for the 2013-14 season.

  1. It’s more of a re-worked crest. If it’s true, I really have mixed feelings, as the new crest is clean and well done.

There is no yellow but the club hasn’t used the color on their shirts in 20 years.

The old badge shape was an icon in itself and will be missed.

I not a huge fan of putting European Cup stars on versions of shirts worn in domestic leagues but it’s the German thing to do these days.
