Five matches are on deck today in the Premier League with plenty to choose from depending whether you like to watch the race for UEFA Champions League qualification, the escape from relegation or both.

The only shame is that all of the games today overlap, so either you’ll miss a lot of the action in the other games, or you’ll be doing a lot of flipping channels.

Nevertheless, Liverpool takes on West Ham United in the early kick-off at 8:30am ET (FOX Soccer Plus and FOX Soccer 2Go). Andy Carroll has to sit this one out for the Hammers since he’s on loan from Liverpool, while the Reds are looking for their fifth win in six matches.

Thirty minutes after the match kicks off at Anfield, Tottenham Hotspur host Everton at White Hart Lane without the services of Gareth Bale, Aaron Lennon or William Gallas. What will a Tottenham side without Bale look like, and will the Manager of the Month curse haunt David Moyes? We shall see beginning at 9am ET on FOX Soccer.

When the second half of Spurs against Everton is about to kick off, Chelsea will be starting their match against Paolo Di Canio. I mean, Sunderland. And Newcastle will be kicking off against Fulham.

Last but not least, the last match of the day is the relegation battle between Queens Park Rangers and Wigan. It’s QPR at home, so a draw could be likely, but Wigan will be buoyed after their home win against Norwich City last weekend and are on a roll as they move up the table.
