Chelsea Home Shirt for 2013-14 Season Leaked [PHOTO]

A photo of Chelsea’s new home shirt for the 2013-14 season has been leaked on the Internet.

Chelsea’s home shirt for next season is designed and manufactured by Adidas, and sponsored by Samsung. The new design of Chelsea’ home jersey features a two tone blue hoop design that features blue sleeves and yellow trim. The rounded collar looks uniquely designed, while the shoulders feature the famous adidas three white stripes.

Personally, I love it. The two tone blue hoops is very aesthetically pleasing. It’s different enough from previous Chelsea home shirts that it looks quite unique. And it looks smart enough to wear whether you’re at a football match or a day out.

UPDATE: Here’s a photo of Chelsea’s away shirt for 2013-14 too.

  1. Quite like the idea of yellow trim. Reminds me of the Coors jerseys in the mid – late 90’s. Don’t think this is real though… several things that don’t look up to the normal quality you’d expect.

  2. I guess it’s fine. There’s not a lot of room for creativity with Chelsea’s home shirt, especially since Adidas is locked into things like the white stripes.

My only concern it that this has a LOT of stripes now. Oh well….if it turns out to be ugly, it’s only for a season. :)

  3. horrible, they should make the 3 stripes continue down the sleeve and make the stripes a different color than last season

  4. You do realise that this is just a mixture of the 2008-09 & 2011-12 home kits, don’t you? This will not be the new home kit, I guarantee you that. Also, the rumoured new away kit was also rumoured to be the away/third kit for the last 2 years in a row, don’t believe anything at this early stage, the likelihood of the team having made the final decisions on next years kits at this stage is very slim.

    1. Football clubs typically finalize the decision on what their kit will be in the autumn, so in all likelihood Chelsea have made the decision of what new home and away shirts they’ll be selling this summer (to give Adidas time to get everything printed and ready to ship).

    2. I’m with TrueBlue it looks like a Frankenstein creation. The body of the home 11/12 and the sleeves of the home 08/09 and a cut down version of the collar from the home 08/09 kit.
