  1. Lol where does Brenda Rodgers come up with this $hit week after week. They just got knocked out of the 2nd rate European competition not making into the last 16 and he’s flapping his gums with “The club and players showed why we are part of the world’s greatest football family”.

Imagine what he would say if they actually won a trophy or finished in the top 6 in the league.

    1. Mufc77, did you even watch the match?

If you did, you would have seen Liverpool playing against the toughest Europa League opponent and coming within a whisker of pulling off an incredible comeback. Liverpool has nothing to be ashamed of after a performance like that. Luis Suarez’s inability to score from several easy chances in the first leg ruined their chances of advancing, despite how brilliant he was in the second leg.

      The Gaffer

      1. I’ didn’t see the game gaffer as FSC had the Chelski Fc game on here in the north east.I’m not talking about how they played I was referring to the constant stuff the says like

“Liverpool football club is the heartland of football folklore”

“I will leave no stone unturned in my quest and that quest will be relentless”

“All I ever do is all I ever done in any job and that’s promise to fight with my life for the supporters and the people if the city”

These are just some of the lines he came out with this season that I find amusing.

        1. I don’t see anything wrong with what he said.

What’s wrong with striving to do the best with Liverpool? What’s wrong with saying that Liverpool FC is the heartland of football folklore?

          The Gaffer

          1. Nothing wrong with striving to do your best for your team. I imagine that’s the goal of every manager in the league. Im sure even the FSW at Chelsea wants to do his best. A little less talk and more action from Brenda Rodgers and they might actually achieve that top six goal some day.

            1. If you watched yesterday’s match, you would have been impressed by how well Liverpool played. They still have a long way to go, but it’s starting to come together.

              The Gaffer

  2. Wenger needs a whole new idea, he intended to try and play like Barca but realised he didn’t have the players, now he seems like he is all over the place with formation and style and he has also acquired a lot of very average players along the way.

fabragas, van persie and nasri moving on and not replaced with sufficient quality. Aesenal have become a selling club, a feeder club, they’re destined to make money without ever winning anything
