It’s just one match, so it’s a little early to be waxing poetically in my opinion, but there’s no doubting that Newcastle United’s new Ligue Un signings — particularly Moussa Sissoko — are made for the Premier League. They’ve got the pace, the skill and the power to completely turn around Newcastle United’s season.
Having said that, Newcastle’s opponents will probably be changing their gameplans when they play against the Toon now that there know how dangerous their new signings are. It’s going to get harder for United, not easier.
