At EPL Talk, we hardly ever steer off course to focus on different leagues or nations outside of the Premier League and England. But in this case, we can be excused because we’re really excited about the leaked photos of the new soccer shirts from Brazil, Netherlands and Portugal.

In all three cases, Nike have designed world-class shirts. The Brazil jersey is a retro inspired shirt with collars that harken back to the 1970s, while the crest and team name underneath the crest radiate class.

The new away shirts for Holland and Portugal are even better, in my opinion. The Dutch shirt features the red, white and blue of the Netherlands flag. The shirt design is so original and a breath of fresh air.

Equally impressive is Portugal’s new away shirt, which continues the iconic cross on the shirt, but this time the shirt is black and charcoal in color.

Why Nike can’t produce shirt designs of these quality for the vast majority of their other soccer shirt designs, I don’t know. But these three are wonderful to look at.

  1. The Brazil and Portugal jersey are iconic, so good it makes me wonder why NIKE cannot design something good for UNITED, that Home kit is HORRIBLE to put it POLITELY

  2. The Dutch change strip is an improvement over recent versions.

Does Portugal intend to use green and red numerals? Green and/or red on black with black cross is keeping with the “inquisition theme” of 500 years ago.
