Liverpool Agree Settlement With Former Owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett: The Daily EPL

hicks gillett Liverpool Agree Settlement With Former Owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett: The Daily EPL

Liverpool has agreed a settlement with former owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett. How much the payoff is exactly, we don’t know but Hicks and Gillett have dropped their case against the club as a result.

Hicks and Gillett lost control of the club in October, 2010. According to The Guardian, “The purchase brought to an end Hicks and Gillett’s near ruinous three-and-a-half year ownership of Liverpool – the case against them was actually brought by the Royal Bank of Scotland, who were owned £235m by the Americans – but they only departed after making claims against Broughton, Purslow and Ayre, who has remained at Liverpool and is now their managing director. The club have confirmed that those claims have now been dropped.”

Funny to see Quitterill turn up at QPR, they’re f€#$ed now.

Guy, have a look at Steve Cotterill on Wikipedia. He will get flayed alive when Stoke play them a t Loftu s Road, in fact I’m tempted to pay £100+ just to go and abuse the prick.

Martin Broughton is really the hero.

Statler and Waldorf would have been better than Hicks and Gillett.
