Today’s the perfect opportunity for both West Ham United and Stoke City to dispel the myth that all both teams do is play the ball long into the opponents box. It’s an opportunity to see two physical sides play some good football in a match, which will no doubt be a very competitive and intriguing one to watch.

A win for West Ham United here and they’ll improve on their points total near the dizzying heights in the top six of the Premier League. Stoke, meanwhile, will be hoping to follow up their 1-0 win against QPR with another victory against a London side.

  1. Well now. Andy Carroll threatening to be somewhat less useless than normal here. C’mon Andy, you don’t want to get recalled to Liverpool, do you?

  2. I’ll take that given our dire away record. It’s still a tight table though.

Fancied us to get a point, dunno why. Good goal by all accounts. Fulham will be an interesting match on Saturday without Hangeland.

Nzonzi is our best summer signing for me, we could just do with another like him. Bargain buy from Venkys.

Anyone coming over to Manchester before Christmas should have a good time, the German Christmas Market was up and running today. Excellent entertainment if you’re off to The Etihad or Old Trafford.

  3. What was that tantrum from carrol all about when he came off… He has a foul mouth jeez!

I also wanted to take this time to recognize the vey nice passing movent that led to the corner, which was also very nice and the opening goal.

I dont see why Crouch gets penalized for being tall without doing anything wrong still.
