Manchester City May Make January Bid for Liverpool’s Luis Suárez: The Nightly EPL
According to British tabloids, Manchester City may make a January bid for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez. This is one story that I’d like to see come true, but I have a strong suspicion that it’s complete BS. Reason being is what would Manchester City want with another striker? Maybe one to replace Mario Balotelli, yes? But shouldn’t they be concentrating on better defenders who know how to play zonal marking, not another forward?

Umm… they’d have to pay 50 million pounds for Suarez because Liverpool would need to replace him and a couple other players to survive!
Somehow i don’t see this happening.
When pigs can fly.
Never say never in Football, but I find it very doubtful in January, unless they came in with an insane bid, and with his current form, 40 million isn’t even close to insane, it is not even adequate.
Next summer though Liverpool will have needed to have added some genuine quality to keep him I think.
City can afford to entice Suarez by offering him twice the wages Liverpool are paying him.
The question for Suarez is does he want to be the number one striker at Liverpool or just another of a host of strikers at City? It will be interesting to see what Suarez does if City do make a bid for him.

It’s a load of bollocks.
Came from the Telegraph with absolutely no quotes or sources, just a made up story that suddenly starts other media going.
