Manchester United to Honor Sir Alex Ferguson With Old Trafford Statue: The Nightly EPL

With Sir Alex Ferguson edging closer and closer to retirement (it has to happen sooner or later, right), Manchester United announced today that it will be erecting a statue of Ferguson outside the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand at Old Trafford later this month.

While the above pictured statue isn’t the final design (thanks to talkSPORT for their humorous Photoshop image), it should be interesting to see what it’ll look like. Ferguson of young, or Ferguson of old? We’ll find out soon.

Here are the Premier League news headlines tonight:

  1. OMG very funny two thumbs up for talkSPORTS!

Mankini feeling a little pressure you better toughen up if you plan on staying at City.

  2. Tony Fernandes says that changing manager now would be suicidal. But problem is, not changing it would be too, except maybe a slow death in that case. So which is a better path to choose? Should Fernandes remain patient and keep faith in Hughes?

It is inportant to go back to the root of the priblem when finding a solutiob. The problem with this club is what they have already done when they went on that frenziful buying spree without a proper system in place. Had they not done that, they wouldnt be in this crisis. For a start, they can maybe not repeat their mistakes again in the next transfer window.

  3. They need a pose of SAF looking confused on the field at Sunderland last May as the realization set in that City had won the league in Fergie time!
