Arsenal Can Compete With World’s Best ‘Within Two Years’ Says Gazidis: The Daily EPL
Most of the major news this morning is a result of today’s annual meeting with Arsenal shareholders and football supporters. Not surprisingly, supporters are upset over Arsenal’s focus on generating money over winning trophies. There were many hecklers in the audience who are dissatisfied with Arsenal’s plight — not having won a trophy in over 7 years.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger told fans not to go overboard, and highlighted the club’s successive seasons in the Champions League. While the meeting has ended, the thirst among Arsenal fans for a piece of silverware has not.

The Daily Mail also ran a story about it. Total BS. Par for the course for The Daily Mail and ESPN UK unfortunately.
Cheers,
The Gaffer
KEEP THE FAITH!!!! KEEP THE FAITH!!! KEEP THE FAUTH!!! TIME TO GO!!! TIME TO GO!!! TIME TO GO!!!! WENGER IS NO LONGER A DYNAMIC COACH HE SHOULD MOVE TO BOARDROOM POLITICS AND SOCCER ECONOMICS!!! I DON’T THINK ARSENAL FANS ARE IMPRESSED WITH HIM ANYMORE!! HE JUST DOES NOT SEEM TO KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING!!! HEY SOUNDS LIKE OUR NEW ANTHEM!!! YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU’RE DOING!!! YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOUR’RE DOING!!! OUT WITH WENGER!! OUT WITH KROENKE!!! OUT WITH HILLWOOD!!! OUT WITH GAZIDIS!!! PLEASE SAVE ARSENAL FC!!!
you can now send your comments to ask@arsenal.co.uk or feedback@arsenal.co.uk
.what is he (wenger) made of? money?
how could qualifying for CL be a trophy?
I am afraid he will say trophy is not important in the near future.
it’s non sense to mock people but may be smart idea to get support from those board members who used to mine fans resource based on their crippled idea. we know that they are always giving us a French promise!
look how they are over charging fans for their stupid display of mediocre players. do they think fans started crapping money? cunts! shame on them.
So wenger after promising to deliver trophies for Arsenal just few years ago, has now changed his stance to say Champions League qualification is a trophy. Haha what is more laughable than this. And what will he say when Arsenal fail to finish in top 4 without CL qualification, that winning Europa League is a trophy, then qualifying to Europa League is a trophy and the story continues……The man’s legacy is slowly and slowly going down the drain. Fans are uphappy at Arsenal. Best players are being sold for profit. Wenger keeps on saying no players are available that’s worth his spending pocket. How far has AFC come along since the invincibles…..
Arsene Wenger’s weekly wage £142,000 per week.
Ivan Gazidis £42,000 per week.
Bargain!
it could happen!!!
if we keep our expierienced players( sagna, mertesacker, arteta, cazorla, podolski) and our best younger players( szczesny, gibbs, wilshere, jenkinson, chamberlain, ramsey, gnabry), we should be able to compete. then, if we buy a mixture of top-class young and expierienced players, we should be winning trophies and competing well in europe in a few years. all this current squad needs is a few more additions!!!
