Serbian FA Deny Any Racism at England U21 Match; Danny Rose Blamed & UEFA Back Them Up: The Daily EPL

kick it out Serbian FA Deny Any Racism at England U21 Match; Danny Rose Blamed & UEFA Back Them Up: The Daily EPL

After the disgraceful scenes in Serbia yesterday near the end of the u-21 match between Serbia and England, where England footballers were subjected to racial abuse, as well as being the target of stones being thrown by the crowd plus being confronted violently by Serbian players and coaches, the pressure is on UEFA to take a firm stance and to ban Serbia from international football. It’s vital that UEFA stamps down on this behavior and gives Serbia a punishment that will force its FA to try to end the awful behavior by its fans, players and coaching staff.

After England’s match was postponed yesterday due to rain, there is unsurprisingly a ton of news to get through, so here are the latest Premier League news headlines today:

Meanwhile, here’s sickening footage of the monkey chanting by Serbian fans against England:

The Daily EPL is your morning guide to the latest Premier League news headlines, so you don’t have to spend an hour or more scanning the Internet. We do all the work for you. Read The Daily EPL on EPL Talk every morning to stay on top of all the news that matters.

  1. Rob says:

“Let’s kick FIFA and UEFA out of football” should be the message as these idiots live in caveman times.

  2. Sacto Blues says:

Has anyone heard if Dembele and now Vertonghen are injured and will miss Saturday’s match ?

    • The Gaffer says:

Vertonghen should be fine. Dembele came off at half-time in his match for Belgium, so Tottenham will be assessing his fitness. I expect to hear something about Dembele tomorrow or, at the very latest, during Friday morning’s press conference by Spurs.

      Cheers,
      The Gaffer
