Reading between the lines, Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes only has a few matches left in charge of his club if he can’t improve his side’s form in the Premier League. Sitting at the bottom of the table, QPR desperately needs a win today against West Ham United. The R’s brought in 12 players during the summer transfer window and have just two points to show for it.

QPR will be coming up against a West Ham United side who will have Andy Carroll on the bench after returning from injury. While QPR is desperate for a win, the Hammers will not want to walk away from this match without at least picking up a point. Judging by how well West Ham played Sunderland and Fulham recently, you would anticipate that Sam Allardyce’s side has enough quality to win this match. But which QPR will show up? The defensive frail side that has gotten ripped apart this season? Or the adventurous, tough-to-beat side that ended the 2011-12 Premier League season on a high after a series of surprise wins.

The match kicks off at 2:45pm ET in the United States on ESPN2 and ESPN3.com
