FIFA 13 Demo Now Available For Download

In case you hadn’t noticed FIFA 13 launched a demo today. It has gone live on PC and Xbox, with PS3 set to follow this afternoon. I know you’re rushing home right now to see what you can do the on the new incarnation of the most successful football franchise on the planet.

Manchester City and Arsenal both feature in the demo, alongside Juventus, AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund. The demo will also include EA SPORTS Football Club Match Day, the new feature that links the real world with the game for the first time. The feature will drive real-world news and updates ripped from the headlines around the world and feed it into the game, making FIFA 13 the most realistic game in the franchises history.

In the demo, real-world drama such as injuries, suspensions, team form, and media gossip surrounding Manchester City, Arsenal, Juventus, AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund will play out in-game and be reflected through in-game commentary.

Last week EPL Talk had a chance to sit down in the EA training camp to see the full version of the game in development. All teams, all kits, all modes. As you can imagine, we were excited. A full review of that experience is to follow later this week with replies to the questions which you posted for us.

In sitting down and playing a few competitive matches, you already feel the difference: ball control; player movements. All details to follow. The thing we’re most interested in, what you get out of the game; what you see on the demo; how the game has improved. Let us know, there is plenty more to come in the next few weeks as EPL Talk pays more visits to EA’s house: the only kid on the block with the new FIFA.

Here are the release times today for when the FIFA 13 demo will be available:

PC — Now.
Xbox 360 — Now
PS3 — Between 5pm-9pm ET

  1. I’ve played the PC demo. It looks good, feels great (but for the love of God, who do I have to kill to get a shot off?! Not complaining about that, but it’s harder than I remember).

Big problem? It ALWAYS crashes once a set-piece is given. Offside? Crash. Corner? Crash. Penalty? Crash.

  2. An I the only one who is sick of still seeing the generic Puma “muscle” goalkeeper jersey or the light blue nike jersey from euro 04 as the keeper kit for almost every lower division side? It honestly wouldn’t be that hard to include the real kits.

  3. XBox – go to the Xbox marketplace and look for the link or type FIFA 13 in bing toolbar

PS3 – it’s featured prominently in the tool bar.

    No Vita version

    1. I know what you mean, this sort of thing happens to me too. As difficult as it may be, do try your best to control yourself with the game and avoid the serious problems caused by addiction. All the best! : )
