Premier League Saturday, Gameweek 2 Match Highlights [VIDEO]

The second Saturday in the 2012-13 Premier League has been wrapped up. Twenty goals were scored in seven matches, equaling an average of 2.85 goals per match. As usual, there were a few spectacularly taken goals as well as some woeful goalkeeping and defending. All in all, it was quite enjoyable.

    Woke up for the game on ESPN2 this morning and was shocked how bad West Ham looked. Even though the Swans first 2 goals were on mistakes they looked good and play a quick uptempo game that West Ham had no answer for. For some reason i was expecting a better showing from them. Next week ESPN is showing West Ham again at home to Fulham, kinda hoping to see bigger teams on this first few Saturdays but should be a good London derby. cheers

    1. Swansea looked much better today than West Ham. They just weren’t able to cope with the Swans passing and speed. At one point in the second half I thought for sure that Swansea was gonna get another 5 goals. West Ham seemed to really lose it, but they were able to keep from allowing more damage and make some decent attempts themselves.
