Chelsea vs AC Milan Friendly In Miami, In Pictures [PHOTO]

Chelsea will find few places more idyllic than Miami to play its football. Saturday evening, Chelsea played in the heat and beautiful weather of South Florida. While the final result wasn’t what Chelsea or its fans wanted, it was still a glorious night of world-class soccer.

    1. It’s a stadium that holds 76,000. More than 50,000 tickets were sold before the game kicked off, but trust me, there was a massive crowd there.

  1. Yeap, there was a massive 57K crowd in a 75,540 stadium for a preseaon football match. One thing to consider was there were temporary high priced green bleachers in front of the regular pernanent sideline seats where normally the gridiron throwball players stand and pace throughout their game. The environment was awesome which made the investment worth it from beginning to end.

    1. In addition to the green bleachers near the pitch, there were also seats on the pitch directly behind the advertising signboards so fans were literally just a few feet away from the players.

  2. My only complaint: they should’ve started the game an hour later. I spent 1H watching the sun set and shading my eyes to see the pitch. Otherwise was a great day. Especially loved seeing the trophies up close.

    1. I left early to get to the game, but got stuck in heavy traffic on the Turnpike, which was followed by a cluster**** trying to get into the parking lot, so by the time I walked into the stadium, it was only 5 minutes before kick-off — so I missed seeing the trophies, which I was looking forward to seeing close-up. Oh well! I enjoyed the night overall.
