Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has signed a new six-year contract that will keep him at the league champions until 2018. The news comes not long after manager Roberto Mancini signed a five-year contract. Both new contracts send a loud signal to City fans (and opposition clubs) that Manchester City means business, and that they’re planning on building on the success they’ve achieved in the Premier League.
