Well he’s got one game to do something because he won’t be playing when Rooney gets back, unless he plays like he’s never played before and then maybe Welbeck would miss out. Still, unless he scores two or three today this will be his one and only chance
Carroll has been terrible since joining LFC, why does he deserve the start for England? Headers? Leading the line? All things he has been terrible at for LFC. Defoe had a much better season inspite of not starting every game, and he is proven at international level, Welbeck and Defoe should start. Carroll starting is a mistake.
