An industry source has informed me that Shaw Media issued layoff notices on Tuesday June 5 to the entire production staff associated with FOX Soccer Report based at 201 Portage Avenue in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, effective August 31, 2012.

The new nightly international soccer newscast to be produced by Rogers Media in Toronto, Ontario, Canada for airing on FOX Soccer (USA) and SPORTSNET WORLD (Canada) is expected to premiere on Saturday September 1, 2012 at 10pm Eastern Time. The new show will replace FOX Soccer Report and SPORTSNET WORLD Connected.
