West Ham United has officially unveiled their new away shirt for the 2012-13 season.

Designed by Macron, the new West Ham away shirt is, according to the club website, “at the cutting edge of design but made to measure for comfort as well as style. The shirt offers a classic navy V-neck with an asymmetrical claret and blue design and a crossed hammer detail for a clean and classic look. Further detailing is provided by the ‘West Ham United’ stitching on the back of the collar.”

It’s the first navy blue shirt for the Hammers in three years. Overall, it’s distinctive and quite attractive, in my opinion.

What are your thoughts about West Ham’s new away shirt? Post your opinions below.

I’m not much of a fan this time round. The last two have been quite nice. I prefer light blue or white for the away shirts. For me, the logo is still much too big and ugly.

  2. steven says:

i am not fond of the claret and blue neck. i bought this year’s away shirt (complete with championship badges) so it looks like I will be skipping this one. i hope the home shirt is more compelling.

  3. Bishopville Red says:

Th recent white one with the clearet and blue chest stripes was miles better. A case where you hope they forget to change them.
