Match Of The Day’s Premier League Season Review, 2011-12 [VIDEO]

match of the day Match Of The Days Premier League Season Review, 2011 12 [VIDEO]

There’s been quite a bit of backlash from the Brits this season in regards to their growing frustrations with the pundits on BBC’s Match Of The Day. Personally, I love the show and find that it’s one of the best review shows out there. It’s certainly not perfect, but if you can find a way to watch it, I definitely think you’ll be impressed.

An example of Match Of The Day’s class can be seen in this lovely review of the 2011-12 Premier League season.

Is it better than the Sky Sports Premier League season review montage? What do you think? Share your opinions in the comments section below.

People over here complain about MOTD being stale and the pundits being bland. People seem to forget all too easily how bad it was when the BBC lost the highlights package to ITV for 2001-04 when there was no MOTD and instead we got ITV’s offering ‘The Premiership’. They toyed with it too much to first try and cater to a primetime audience by showing it in the evening… they failed to recognise the fact that match goers were still travelling home at the time and totally missed the highlights. Even when they moved it to 10.30pm it was still nowhere near as good as MOTD.

ITV are tipped to be bidding on highlights AND one of the 12-game live packages this time around…

As for MOTD: You don’t know what you’ve got… ’til it’s gone!
