With the 2011-12 soccer seasons getting closer to the final lap, anticipation is building for Euro 2012. Part of the ritual of each major tournament is the collecting of Panini sticker albums. As we get closer to the tournament, we’ll find out whether the stickers will be available in the United States. But in the meantime, I wanted to share this interesting video with you courtesy of FIFA.

The video discusses the history of Panini. Plus it features interviews with some of the executives from Panini, as well as showing footage from their factory in Italy, so you can see how Panini stickers and albums are created.

If you’re a fan of collecting football stickers or if you’re curious, this is definitely a great video to watch.

Here’s a question for you: What was the first football sticker album you remember collecting? This is the first one I remember collecting: http:\/\/www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7gXg0lcW-M
