The Beautiful Game is loved by all of us and we all enjoy spreading football across the globe. However, there are some in need right now that would truly appreciate soccer equipment in their area of the world.

In addition to writing for EPL Talk, I am a student-athlete at Boston College High School in Dorchester, Massachusetts. Annually, the soccer program collects soccer gear to send abroad to children in need. This year, all donations will be going to a new school outside of Porte-au-Prince, the capital of the Republic of Haiti, by the name of Nativity Haiti. The brand new school is for children who have been through a lot over the past two years and it means the world to them when a truck pulls up with a boxes with cleats and uniforms. In fact, the clothing is the most important to them, because many will wear the donated shirts, socks, and shorts as their daily clothing.

Please send any slightly or gently used cleats, shin guards, uniforms and balls that you may have to Boston College High School and if you are in the Boston area it would be wonderful if you could drop your donation at the school‘s main office.

If you have any questions about the drive, feel free to e-mail me at as.fairchild13(at)students.bchigh(dot)edu. The BC High soccer program and I would like to thank you, the readers of EPL Talk, in advance for your compassion and generosity.
