Friday night’s game for the United States men’s national team provides a perfect test for Jurgen Klinsmann to see what several US players who typically don’t get much playing time can do against a strong Costa Rica side (11pm ET, ESPN2).

The game, which will be played at Home Depot Center, will give Klinsmann a chance to see what players can do on the international stage such as Jeff Larentowicz, Chris Pontius and Tommy Chandler. What Klinsmann’s starting line-up will be is a mystery right now since several key players will be out (Dempsey is recovering from an injury in England, Beckerman and Cherundolo will join the USMNT in Belgium, while Zach Loyd and Heath Pierce are injured). With Jermaine Jones and Michael Bradley not in the squad, it’ll be interesting to see who Klinsmann plays as central or defensive midfielders.

So, who should Klinsmann start? Above you’ll see the lineup of who I think should start against Costa Rica. But what do you think? Share your recommended starting eleven in the comments section below.
