In an ugly ending to a spectacular Spanish Super Cup game, Jose Mourinho pulled the ear of Barcelona assistant manager Tito Vilanova while the melee was going on between Real Madrid and Barcelona players and coaches.

The cheeky move by Mourinho happened when he walked behind the crowd of players — and with Vilanova’s back facing him — Mourinho reached around and forcefully pulled Vilanova’s ear. The assistant Barcelona manager turned around to see who had done it and, seeing Mourinho, pushed him back.

The incident happened after Marcelo of Real Madrid committed a two-footed challenge against Cesc Fabregas in front of the benches of both teams. The players and benches then ran out to the field where the pushing and pulling began. Marcelo was deservedly red carded for the foul which could have been extremely dangerous.

We’ll now have to wait and see if Mourinho receives any punishment for the low-class move on Vilanova, especially when the Barcelona assistant manager had his back turned to The Special One.
