The US TV schedule for most of this summer’s preseason friendlies featuring Premier League teams has been announced. As expected, many of the games featuring Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City will be shown on US television networks such as FOX Soccer and ESPN. While the schedule is subject to change and additional games are bound to be added, I thought now is as good a time as any to share the schedule with you especially considering that Premier League teams are beginning to arrive in the United States in anticipation of their tours.

Manchester City arrived in Los Angeles earlier this morning with 73 players and representatives. Also accompanying them is the FA Cup trophy flanked by its own security. After they all landed, they were escorted to Santa Monica where they’re staying at a lush hotel.

Manchester United, meanwhile, are expected to arrive in Boston on Monday before their opening game against New England Revolution on Wednesday. Expected to start against New England Revolution are Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand, Nani, Michael Owen, Ji-Sung Park and Nemanja Vidic. The final travel roster coming to the States has not been announced as of press time.

PS – I’m leaving today to take a few days of much needed R&R before the summer pre-season schedule kicks off. While I’m in Honduras discovering Mayan ruins, you can still expect to read new posts each day through Tuesday until I return Stateside. The only disruption in service will be fewer tweets and fewer updates through Facebook, but hopefully there won’t be any massive news stories breaking between now and Wednesday. Have a great weekend!
