West Bromwich Albion have announced their third preseason friendly of their 2011 US summer tour. On July 17, they’ll play Ventura County Fusion at Oxnard College Stadium in California. Kick-off time is 3pm PT.

“It’s great to have an English Premier League team back in Ventura County,” said Fusion general manager Ranbir Shergill. “”We are proud to carry on our tradition of hosting top international professional teams.” In the past, Ventura County Fusion have hosted friendlies against Everton, Portsmouth and Burnley.

During West Bromwich Albion’s 12-day training trip to the United States, they’ll play their first friendly against San Jose Earthquakes on July 12 followed by the Ventura County Fusion friendly, and will complete their US tour with a July 20 game against Portland Timbers.

West Bromwich Albion are the sixth Premier League club playing friendlies in the United States this summer. The other clubs coming Stateside are Manchester United, Manchester City, Everton, Newcastle United and Bolton Wanderers.
