Sunderland have revealed their away shirt for the 2011-12 Premier League season.
Designed by Umbro, this is the first drastic shirt design of the new season thus far. The design features a sky blue shirt with a bold white chest band. The shirt features a round collar, while the shorts are white and the socks are white with the blue trim.
What do I think of it? Well, it’s certainly a bold move. This may be one of those types of shirts that looks better in person than in a photo. Right now, it looks like a jersey better suited for a women’s soccer team. But I like that Umbro and Sunderland are trying to do something different here rather than a forgettable jersey.
