Not only are we in the last week of Premier League action with the season ending on Sunday, but this Sunday also marks the final day for voting in the 2011 EPL Awards.

Manchester United may have won the league, Man City may have won the FA Cup and Birmingham may have plucked the Carling Cup out of Arsenal’s fingers, but the voice of the supporters from around the world have different opinions regarding who should be the manager of the year, player of the year and best footballers of the season, just to name a few award categories.

If the polls closed right now, Pepe Reina would be named the best goalkeeper of the year, Nemanja Vidic would be the best defender of the year, Lucas Leiva would be best midfielder, and Luis Suarez would be named best striker of the season. On top of all that, Kenny Dalglish is leading the vote for the best manager of the season. Obviously you can see that Liverpool supporters have done the best job so far of canvassing their fans to vote for Liverpool players, but there’s still time for supporters of other clubs (including Liverpool) to vote between now and Sunday.

As for players of the season, Nemanja Vidic is leading the vote thus far, while Jack Wilshere is leading the vote for EPL young player of the year.

Off the pitch, The Guardian’s Football Weekly is leading the pack for best EPL podcast of the year, while The Tuesday Club is in the lead in the best EPL club podcast category. In the best EPL podcast pundit category, Barry Glendenning has been knocked out of first place and is losing to Keith Dover of The Tuesday Club.

In the blogs category, Caught Offside is in first place in the best EPL blog category, while ArseBlog is in the lead in the best EPL club blog race.

Everton is in first place in the best EPL club forum with the independent GrandOldTeam forum storming ahead. As for the best new football book of 2010-11, Pay As You Play by Paul Tomkins is currently the leader.

Last but not least, there’s a close race between Rio Ferdinand and Arseblog to decide who will be voted the best EPL Twitterer of 2010-11.

Don’t forget to vote today in these and all of the other categories to decide what was the best of the best of the 2010-11 Premier League season.
