EA Sports has released the first screenshot of FIFA 12, which features a screenshot of Real Madrid soccer star Kaká.

The next installment of FIFA, the video game series, will launch during the autumn of 2011.

While it’s hard to judge a book by its cover, it’s also difficult to ascertain from this screenshot how good FIFA 12 will be. The screenshot makes the graphics look crisp, but we’ll have to wait and see when the game comes out how good it is (or not).

  1. I guess this post makes sense since it’s a blog for English Premier football… seriously though, what’s with all the FiFA game posts? Waste of space… especially as pointless as this article.

  2. Though I don’t play Fifa I wouldn’t mind the posts really if there was a point to them. This post was just absolutely pointless.

    1. Why it’s pointless? It’s the first screenshot from FIFA 12, so fans of the FIFA series would be interested in something like this. If you don’t like it or aren’t interested, you can skip it.

      1. Agreed! It’s an important issue in a lot of people’s minds. It’s definitely made me reconsider moving forward or not into the FIFA series. FIFA 11 was done so well, and even though this picture doesn’t reveal too much, it looks like the budget on details has declined on players. They did a much better job of portraying Kaka last game than from what I can see in this picture. Thanks for the post, Gaffer. Gave me a good insight to the future!

  3. Kaka ist relevant to the modern game anymore. Since he was shuffled over to RM, he has become a fantastically superb talent among many others. Someone like Wayne Rooney (curse his name), Lio Messi, or Cristiano Ronaldo should be the focus, unfortunately.
