Is This Arsenal’s New Home Shirt for 2011-12 Season?

arsenal home shirt Is This Arsenals New Home Shirt for 2011 12 Season?

A new photo of what may be Arsenal’s new home shirt for the 2011-12 season has been published.

Whether this is, in fact, Arsenal’s new home shirt, we’ll have to wait until we know for sure. The quality of the home shirt (pictured left) looks like a fake shirt. It’s quite possible it may be a fake based on what is known about the shirt thus far, primarily that the new design will celebrate 125 years of Arsenal Football Club.

In December, we published a different image of what may be Arsenal’s home shirt for 2011-2012.

Both this above image and the one published in December feature a wreath encircling the Arsenal crest as a main feature of the new shirt design.

What do you think of Arsenal’s new home shirt for next season, if the photograph is in fact the approved design? Share your opinion in the comments section below.

    Not bad

this is a FAKE for sure?
look closely to the shirt fabric around the club badge, it has the same pattern in the fabric as the current shirt

  2. Phenoum says:

I think it may be genuine, but the piss poor camera messed up the colors. Anyhow – generally speaking – it’s probably at least 80% correct based on what we know.

  3. SeminoleGunner says:

I like this better than the earlier one, which overdid the laurels a bit.

  4. EN2Gooner says:

Isn’t home kit rotation every 2 seasons? We’ll have a new away kit, our current yellow strip will become the third and then a new home strip for the 2012-2013 season. Apart from the last season of highbury we’ve never done a new home strip yearly. Scandalous if they are planning to release one for next seaon.

  5. Gooner 48 says:

No it won’t be the new shirt and this picture was in fact first circulated a couple of months ago. Do try to keep up.

  6. dave says:

We wont be changing shirt next year. We have them for 2 years at a time

    • Phenoum says:

umm… it’s the 125th anniversary of the club – I think they just might bend the rules for this one – so yeah – there will be a new shirt next year, maybe not this one, but either way you’re wrong :)

i was at arsenal v liverpool game couple of weeks ago went to the armoury shop after game and received the new merchandise catalogue for spring/summer 2011. center pages say the pre-order reveal of new home shirt for 2011/2012 will be on the 02/05/11 which is
      to celebrate 125 years…..

  7. eddie says:

fake – arsenal release home shirts every 2 years.

    yawn.. next

  8. Dean says:

arsenals crap bit oh well i aint that bothered

  9. luis arsenal torres says:

i think it would be pretty cool but it kind of looks fake

  10. mark_gooner says:

If anyone was smart enough, they would go and look at the official arsenal website and see that all there strips have been put down to 50% off so without a shadow of a doubt, arsenal will be changing there kits.

    • H2Oh! says:

They actually stated some time ago that the current shirt would be for one season only.

    • Archie says:

…or maybe the fact that Arsenal have listed the current kit as the “10/11 kit” since its release last year. i think you should look at yourself before judging whether or not people are ‘smart enough’
