I honestly believe Blackpool will manage a draw this evening. MANU is not a great away team (2-8-0), whereas Bloomfield Road is no fortress, but the fans should be able to will Blackpool into playing a good match tonight with either a nil-nil or 1-1 draw the outcome. As a Chelsea fan I’d be indebted if the would take all the points from MANU tonight though!

Anything is possible especially because Blackpool have become media darlings? Tons of devotees? Elaborate, please.

Read the blogs and you’ll see plenty of comments and posts by people talking about how they love the way Blackpool has been playing and what a breath of fresh air they’ve been this season.

I think Ponzi is questioning how that translates into Blackpool taking points off ManU. I also fail to see how those dots connect.

There’s no correlation. They were two thoughts in one sentence… (1) anything is possible especially for a club such as Blackpool, and (2) Blackpool have become the media darlings of the blogosphere and have attracted tons of devotees in the United States and abroad.

          Cheers,

Anything is possible in the EPL. At the beginning of the ’09-’10 season, a recently promoted Burnley side defeated Man U 1-0 at home.

As an Arsenal fan, I would gladly welcome a Blackpool win or draw.

Having said all that, I expect the Red Devils to prevail.

    Wow…just…wow…poor Blackpool
