In another piece of bizarre scheduling, MLS and ESPN team up to bring us the Red Bulls and Galaxy tonight, live at 11.

I’m working, so thanks to the magic of ESPN3, it suits me fine. Still, it will be interesting to see the rating for tonight’s match on the deuce.

Even without Thierry Henry, this match should feature four designated players. With Landon Donovan and, perhaps, David Beckham suiting up for the Galaxy and Rafa Márquez and Juan Pablo Angel representing the Red Bulls, star power will be in abundant supply.

The Galaxy will be looking to solidify their hold on the league’s best record while New York will try to get back on the winning track after last week’s 2-2 draw with FC Dallas.

The Red Bulls will have to do without Henry, but the Galaxy will have a second-choice pair of starting center backs.

So things could be interesting at the Home Depot Center.
