FIFA 11 TV Commercial Starring Wayne Rooney (Video)

EA Sports has released their official US TV commercial for the upcoming release of the FIFA 11 video game.

The FIFA 11 video is choc-a-bloc with football superstars such as Rooney, Ozil, Cech, Iniesta and many more. It’s one of those videos that you’ll want to watch over and over again, and each time you do you’ll probably notice something different.

FIFA 11 is scheduled for release in North America on September 28, September 30 in Australia and October 1 in Europe.

  1. rooney owns a french mastiff but that is not a french mastiff in the advert. as mentioned earlier it think it is either a presa canario or cane corso. more likely a cane corso as its tail is cropped. but thats just my opinion of course!

  2. I think it’s too big for being a corso. maybe a bull mastiff.. i’m sure that is not a french mastiff (tequila of tequila and bonetti was a french mastiff).
i’ve a corso too and mine is not so big.. the head particulary..
    ehm..sorry for my english..i’m italian….

  3. the dog is a pesa canario. more muscular than a cane corso, bigger head, and its tail is NOT docked(its like 2 feet long)

  4. If the guy is of average size and the dog is not photo-shopped to look bigger then the dog has to be an English Mastiff (though I have never seen one with it’s ears cropped). Bull Mastiffs top out around 150lb (though their ears are not normally cropped) while English Mastiffs are around 200lb and if you are around 6ft their head hits around your hip while both the Cane Corso and Bull Mastiff your upper thigh. In looking at the dog closely he may be an American Mastiff with his ears cropped. Sorry but have never heard of a “giant bull mastiff” and the canario would be much smaller w/ less jowl.

  5. I love that dog. When I watched the commertial, I placed the image on pause and took a picture with my iphone. he didn’t have a bar code so I couldn’t run it through a search.

Nobody knew what kind of dogs it was. Thanks for all the tips.

  6. Sorry people but it’s a Perro de Presa Canario.
Markings on the face and head, and ear-cut are just like mine!
Also Cane Corso’s do not have a tail, they crop them as puppies.
ALL Presas have tails for balance.
