Gol TV Have Taken The First Steps In Becoming An Exclusive Bundesliga Broadcaster.

Gol TV have purchased the rights to exclusively air the German Super Cup match between Bayern Munich and Schalke on Saturday. Gol TV have also gone ahead and purchased the rights to exclusively air next season’s German Super Cup match.

It seems that after an excellent display by the German national team at the World Cup, interest in the Bundesliga and in German football altogether have dramatically risen. It’s good to see that a network like Gol TV will be devoting more energy and effort to broadcasting Bundesliga matches throughout the season.

Fans of the game who watched the World Cup were captivated by the scintillating performances of players like Bastian Schweinsteiger, Thomas Mueller and Mesut Ozil. Many fans of the game who support a club from England or from Spain would have known very little about some of these players before the World Cup, and knowing that Germany’s entire 23-man World Cup squad played their club football in the Bundesliga prior to the World Cup has certainly led old and new fans to the Bundesliga to watch these players all season long.

Gol TV has taken the first steps to becoming one of the premier broadcasting stations of the Bundesliga. After all the new interest in the league and its players, it’s no wonder that Gol TV have begun purchasing exclusive rights to Bundesliga matches.

Bayern Munich will kick-off against Schalke on Saturday August 7th at 11.45 a.m. EST to contest what will be an exciting match up between Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich and Bundesliga runners-up Schalke.
