Chelsea Away Jersey for 2010-11 Season: Leaked Photos

Photographs of what appears to be Chelsea’s new away jersey for the 2010-11 season have been leaked on the Internet.

The images of Chelsea’s new away shirt feature a black top with gold trim. Designed and manufactured by Adidas, the new Chelsea away jersey features a tartan-like design on the shirt which is slightly consistent with the design of Chelsea’s third jersey for the 2010-11 season.

Looking at the designs for Chelsea’s away and third jerseys, it seems like a cruel joke has been played on the west London team because the shirt designs are absolutely horrid. However, it appears that the designs are no joke. But we won’t get confirmation until the club officially unveils the designs between now and the end of August.

Here are two more photographs of the new Chelsea away jersey:

  1. So both the 2nd and 3rd jersey’s are going to be black are they?? What’s the point of that??? Seems like maybe the cruel joke was played on you.

  2. gold on black looks really good, but not too keen on the pinstripes, hopefully they’ll grow on me. The away shirt is officially revealed on the chelsea website tomorrow, i cant see how that black/neon blue ‘3rd’ shirt can be real tho, what with this one being black as well, the neon blue one doesnt even work as a 2nd gk shirt! i reckon that neon blue one got replaced by this black & gold one. Still if i dont like it then that’ll be £40-50 saved! chelsea are bringing out three shirts again this year! ( you can pre-order the new away & third shirts via additions direct) rip offs!

  3. I don’t think the neon-blue on black shirt is real. This one is probably the away kit, to be officially revealed tomorrow, and the 3rd kit is revealed in August. There’s absolutely no point in having 2 black change kits.

  4. I don’t like the orange/gold in the jersey. Would rather it be red, blue, neon yellow, but not orange/gold. I do like the design of the jersey though.

  5. As someone mentioned on the other thread, I think the black-blue “tron” style kit is DEFINITELY fake. For a start, the selection of retro Lotto mid-90’s Milan shirts in the corner of the picture seem incongruous. Why would the newest Chelsea merchandise be photographed prior to release alongside shirts (from a different club and manufacturer) from 15 years ago? Furthermore, that Tron shirt looks much more likely to be a goalie-shirt.

Also, it cannot be the case that both the away shirt and the third shirt are essentially black (especially since the home shirt is already a fairly dark color). I think it’s much more likely that one of the shirts will be either white or yellow (relatively traditional Chelsea away colors).

  6. Definitely real i think. All of you should have shame. It is not GOLD and GREY. It is Graphite and Tangerine, the colours of our mid 90s shirt which was voted our worst ever shirt. What a throw back though. I love it.

  7. That kit is the best away kit i have seen for years and by the way it is definitely real go on the sun website then look at the man u kit slide across the pics chelsea’s one is there

  8. I actually saw this in a soccer store in Dallas yesterday.. that is NOT gold… it is ORANGE… The jersey is black with straight orange trip, lettering, and the stripes are an orange fade…

so head’s up… it ain’t even close to gold. that is a halloween set of colors.

  9. i luv this jersey, i bought it last time at stamford bridge when i was visit england.. it only cost 65 pound, i love this jersey so much.. ( DON’T BE JEALOUS HA..)
