It’s the Fourth of July and Americans around the world will be celebrating their independence today with barbecues, trips to the beach, fireworks and some rest and relaxation after a tiring but enthralling World Cup. Some of you may even be spending some time catching up on matches you may have missed, or replaying moments over again on television.

But whatever you and your family are doing today, I’d like to wish you all a Happy Independence Day. On behalf of me and the entire blogging staff at EPL Talk, thanks for being a loyal reader and have a wonderful holiday.

  1. Just popped back to the colonies for the first time in 240 years and my goodness you’ve let the place go.

You need to re-enlist – and quickly…I’m sure Her Maj will take you back.

  2. Did you miss World War 2, may be the Cold War, how about the Marshall Plan, excuse me I won’t expect you to know about the Marshall plan a bit deep for you. And btw, who invented the internet which somehow despite your obvious lack of intelligence you manage to use.

  3. I’m confused eplnfl, I’m an red blooded American born and raised and know of all you are talking about. I think you lack intelligence because you don’t know a very common quote from the comedy movie Team America, so you can take your snyde remarks and shove them where the sun don’t shine.

  4. Hey eplnfl, tel us that again in your own language! Oh wait, you don’t have your own language. Sorry, my bad… :s
