MLS Weekend Preview – May 20-23

Even while Landon Donovan, Edson Buddle and Sacha Kljestan train with the U.S. men’s national team in hopes of making the World Cup roster, the MLS schedule churns on this weekend.

There are two games tonight in advance of a four-game menu on Saturday, topped off with a lone Sunday fixture.

Here’s the schedule:

FC Dallas vs. Los Angeles, 8:30 p.m.

Saturday, May 22
Toronto FC vs. New England, 1 p.m.
Seattle Sounders FC vs. San Jose, 3 p.m.
Houston vs. D.C. United, 8 p.m., Galavisión
Chivas USA vs. Real Salt Lake, 8:30 p.m.

Sunday, May 23
Kansas City vs. Columbus, 4 p.m.

  1. FACT: If you don’t love the Thursday night game you are a commie.

    Top two teams in the East, it doesn’t get any better.
    (Well I guess it could be the best in the WEST.)

    1. The Thursday night game is great. I would like a starting time of say 9:00pm EST but will take it anytime other than 7:00pm EST. Also if their is a second game like tonight it should be a later start from a Mountain or West coast team.
