As I mentioned on Monday with the release of our latest podcast, we are making some exciting changes at MLS Talk. One of these changes will be our new “Legends of MLS” series on both our podcast and website. Often times, MLS History is unknown or hardly written for the new fan. We seek to bridge a gap in understanding and recognition of certain players, coaches and clubs.

We also will, very soon have another show on the American Soccer League , as a follow up to our podcast with Colin Jose from a few months ago. Our resident ASL historian Brian Zygo will be one of the participants. With the proud name of the Tampa Bay Rowdies returning to action in USL-1 next season, we’ll be doing a retorspective on the New York Cosmos biggest rival.

Again, for those who want regular weekly analysis of MLS and US Soccer, Match Fit USA, the Football Pub and other good podcasts exist. ESPN Soccernet has begun a US Soccer show as well, although I personally don’t listen to it very often.
