About Christopher Harris

Founder and publisher of World Soccer Talk, Christopher Harris is the managing editor of the site. He has been interviewed by The New York Times, The Guardian and several other publications. Plus he has made appearances on NPR, BBC World, CBC, BBC Five Live, talkSPORT and beIN SPORT. Harris, who has lived in Florida since 1984, has supported Swansea City since 1979. He's also an expert on soccer in South Florida, and got engaged during half-time of a MLS game. Harris launched EPL Talk in 2005, which was rebranded as World Soccer Talk in 2013.     Love the classic vids, Chris.

    The Prem and Fox are really missing out by not airing old highlight programs as filler programming during the day or would be better than airing paid programs in the morning.

    Thinking a bit out of the box do you think we could see a Premiership Channel like we see with the MLB Network, the NHL Network, the MLB Network,the Big 10 Network, and NBA TV that could air on expanded sports cable packages where they could use the hours of inventory of programming just sitting somewhere collecting dust in which it could used to build the popularity of the sport here in the States as more and more people are taking to the sport?
