1993-94: Blackburn v Man United: Video Flashback

The latest video flashback takes us back to the second season of the Premier League for a massive match between Blackburn Rovers and Manchester United.

The video features the opening to Match Of The Day (MOTD) featuring presenter Des Lynam and pundits Alan Hansen and Trevor Brooking. After setting the scene, the BBC cameras descend on Ewood Park where half of the ground was bare due to the construction of what would later be known as the Jack Walker Stand.

On the pitch, there are plenty of British football legends strutting their stuff including Alan Shearer, Mark Hughes, Colin Hendry, Tim Flowers, Gary Pallister, Peter Schmeicel and others.

The video only shows the first ten minutes of the broadcast. The final score ended Blackburn 2-0 Manchester United.
