This summer, Chelsea FC will be traveling around the United States to play in a series of high-profile friendlies as part of the World Football Challenge. John Terry, Frank Lampard, Michael Ballack, Didier Drogba, Michael Essien and the crew — along with new manager Carlo Ancelotti — will be playing games on both coasts as well as in the heart of Texas in front of massive crowds (the game against Seattle Sounders has already sold more than 60,000 tickets).

To celebrate Chelsea’s tour this summer, EPL Talk has two grand prizes to give away courtesy of World Football Challenge. Each pack contains:

  • A new Chelsea jersey,
  • Chelsea hat,
  • Chelsea mini-ball, and
  • A Chelsea scarf.

Here are the rules and the details on how you can enter:

All you have to do is correctly answer the following trivia question, e-mail your answer to thegaffer[at]epltalk[dot]com by July 10, 2009 and be one of the two lucky people to be selected at random. The winners will be announced on this site on July 13, 2009. The Chelsea prize packs will then be sent to the winners during the week of July 13.

The trivia question is:
How many matches will Chelsea FC play in the U.S. this summer, and who are they against?

Whether you’re a Chelsea fan or not, the Blues will be the biggest Premier League club playing in the United States this summer. It’ll be a golden opportunity to see the Chelsea star players before the 2009-10 Premier League season begins and before next summer’s World Cup.

UPDATE: The two lucky winners are Roy Bottiggi and Michel Dang. Congratulations! The correct answer was four times:

July 18th, 2009 against the Seattle Sounders.
July 21st, 2009 against Inter Milan (FC Internazionale Milano)
July 24th, 2009 against AC Milan
July 26th, 2009 against Club America
